Companies don't value good emarketing people and let the budget drive strategy too much

budgetcuts1
I keep hearing that consumers are starting to spend again but you would never know it the way some companies are treating potential employees. Nowhere is this more true than in Internet marketing where most of the open jobs are for interns to implement their social media strategy or managers to "put stuff " on their website. U.S. Workers Report an All-Time Low for Work Environment

The Work Environment Sub-Index (WEI) dropped a further 0.9 percentage points to 48.0, an all-time low for this key measure of one of the primary components of quality of life within the U.S.. Recession means business can treat canidates like trash

images
It's estimated the the number of underemployed Americans is as high as 15 million people. These are people who have either stopped looking for work or have taken any job just to get some money to live. One of the downsides of an economy in recession is that a lot of corporations feel they can treat job candidates like garbage. The reality is that how a company treats you during the interview process is a good barometer of how the treat their employees. Read More...
