Apple iPad: It will happen

images-1
I was a little disappointed with the introduction of the Apple iPad primarily because it didn't have FLASH, does not allow multitasking and does not have a stylus. But all that will be resolved and if Apple follows history the iPad in 2-3 years will be priced at $199-$299 and it will be flying off the shelf.
I am an Apple person. I have an iMac, iPhone and numerous iPod's but I am not going to buy an iPad right now. For me it's too expensive and if I can't multitask and write via a stylus I don't need one to read books. However will all that said I know damn well that Apple is probably working on a version 2.0 right now and a lot of third party vendors are already thinking about ways to make the iPad easy to integrate with business.

AT&T promises that they will be ready when the iPad becomes a mass market item but I have to say that 3G speeds feel like dial-up when compared to broadband. The Internet connection infrastructure in this country needs an influx of investment dollars to keep pace with the rest of the world but it will happen because it's a great way to add jobs and money to the economy.

There are no fewer than a 12 models of tablet computers coming out in the next year and I am not going to bet against Apple. A lot of people were underwhelmed when the iPad was introduced but smart people know that the door to future possibilities is not all the way open yet. When the iPad is $199-$299 they will fly off the shelf and people could have 2-3 of them in their households. It will happen just give Apple time and resist the urge to spend money on a tablet PC that will be out of date within a year.
